#CoolItDown Campaign (#بَرِّدُوهَا)
Three years on...
Sudan is a nation utterly exhausted by war. Lives are lost every single day, while millions remain trapped in a cycle of displacement, exile, fear, and agonizing waiting.
In the #CoolItDown (#بَرِّدُوهَا) campaign, we raise one clear, unified voice to all parties and all those with influence:
1. Stop the War Immediately
There is no justification for continued fighting while people perish daily. Estimates suggest that between 150,000 and 400,000 lives have already been lost. Civilians remain under the constant threat of shelling and drone strikes every day.
2. Open Humanitarian Corridors
Access to aid is a fundamental right, not a favor. Approximately 33.7 million Sudanese are in desperate need of humanitarian support, yet ongoing combat continues to block aid from reaching vast areas of the country.
3. Provide Urgent Humanitarian Aid
Millions are in dire need of food, medicine, and shelter. More than 21 million people are facing acute hunger, and nearly 80% of health facilities are currently out of service.
4. Protect Civilians
Civilians are not a party to this conflict. Over 11–12 million people have been displaced or forced into seeking refuge both inside and outside Sudan. These figures—provided by the United Nations and international organizations—likely underrepresent the reality due to the extreme difficulty of access and documentation.
Sudan cannot wait. The war... must stop.
